Just recently, Golden Rule World Peace Ambassador and Founder and President of IChange Nations™, Dr. Clyde Rivers was approached by Dr. Nassralla of Cross TV, and asked to do a weekly show called “The Golden Rule Show.” The message of “Treating others the way you want to be treated,” will now reach this massive global audience like never before. Dr. Rivers the leading expert of Golden Rule Dialogue has watched the effects of living the Golden Rule around the world. He is being called upon to propagate this message everywhere he goes. The truth is, where people are living this universal principle, the pathway to peaceful dialogue changes the outcome of conflict and tragedy that the world is engulfed in.

Ambassador Rivers together with Dr. Charles Kinuthia, Dr. Michal P. Pitzl and Dr. Donella Pitzl presented the Golden Rule International Award of Honor for a life exemplifying the Golden Rule and established a Culture of Honor on the beautiful island of Providence. Dr. Melida Harris-Barrow, a fellow Golden Rule World Peace Ambassador, organized this event and nominated outstanding candidates.

Establishing a Culture of Honor in nations around the world is important to World Peace Ambassador Rivers. Recognizing people that are living the Golden Rule coupled with adding value to every human being globally is at the heart of Ambassador Rivers’ message. On Providence Island outstanding individuals working to better their life, land and community were acknowledged and honored on the global platform of the Golden Rule International and iChange Nations.

In Addis Ababa Ethiopia on January 10, 2015, Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers had the privilege of visiting the African Union and meeting with several of the leaders.

Ambassador Rivers said, “It was a great opportunity for me to watch the leadership of the Continent of Africa solve the issues of this expansive continent. I saw their skilled leadership creating a brighter future for the next generation. This new leadership model understands the issues of the African and how to connect with other nations of the world. This appears to be Africa’s time to develop itself and become a major player in the global community.”

THE POWER OF UNITY IN BURUNDI AFRICA

The major power of community in the Republic of Burundi Africa has united the Hutus and Tutsi tribes as a result of working side-by-side for years rebuilding their nation. 

Ambassador Clyde Rivers commented, “As Ambassador at Large for the Republic of Burundi, I can tell you first hand that there is a unity in our nation due to the efforts of the people of this nation. The power of the transformation in Burundi has not taken place because of politics. It has taken place because of love. Politics can never heal a broken heart. It’s the love of God. You can never change a nation until you heal the broken heart of the people. In the Republic of Burundi Africa, the hearts of the people are now being healed. This great nation is on the way to the top. If you want to see a model of transformation, model yourself after the Republic of Burundi Africa. Only love can change us.”

Ambassador Clyde Rivers says, “It is a beautiful day when you see people working together to build their nation in peace ad harmony. This Community Works Day is the new model for national development and was created by President Pierre Nkurunziza.”

Ambassador Mussie Hailu, one of the world’s top philanthropists, is the first recipient of the iChange Nations Person of the Year Award. The award was presented by Professor Clyde River, President of iChange Nations, at the Gerald R. Ford Library and Museum during the Golden Rule Award ceremony.

Mario Murillo Receives Honorary Doctorate Degree From Latin University of Theology

Latin University of Theology’s International Commissioner, Dr. Clyde Rivers, was in San Jose California on June 8th, 2014 to present Mario Murillo with an Honorary Doctorate in Theology. This historical event took place at the Star of David Ministry with the overseers Dr. Sonny and Linda Lara in attendance.

Dr. Rivers told the audience that, “Mario Murillo is a true pioneer of the faith. We are proud, at Latin University of Theology, to confer upon Mario Murillo the Honorary Doctorate of Theology for his labor in the Word of God as an evangelist.” Dr. Rivers went on to say, “Bringing back the lost art of honor is a critical element that we must implement in the body of Christ. We must recognize those that have gone before us. So it gives me great privilege to honor Dr. Mario Murillo for his labors of love for mankind.”

Latin University of Theology has extension campuses in over 28 nations of the world. We welcome Dr. Mario Murillo to the family of Latin University of Theology.

Ambassador Clyde Rivers, the North American Division Leader for the Golden Rule International and the Representative to the United Nations, New York for Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative, awarded Congressman Jim Beall the prestigious Golden Rule International Award. The ceremony was conducted on June 8th, 2014 at the Star of David Ministry in San Jose, California.

An advocate for world peace, Dr. Clyde Rivers was asked to throw the first pitch at the High Desert Mavericks baseball game last week. Rivers commented, “It was such an honor to be asked to throw the first pitch at this baseball game. I believe every time I have the opportunity to do something like this I am able to promote world peace and the Golden Rule. It’s good to be heard and have the ability to explain that the Golden Rule, as a global ethic, is the only way we can change the world. ‘Treat others the way you want to be treated.’ With heartfelt gratitude I would like to thank the High Desert Mavericks Minor-League Baseball Team for giving me this opportunity.”

This school is producing graduates from high school at the age of 14 and 15 years of age because for their high standards. The students graduating from this institution are going into higher education with great success. Dr. Emy Etienne has established this outstanding institution.

Ambassador Rivers says, “I had the awesome privilege of speaking to these young students. I shared with them the power of creativity that is given to them by God. It was brought to our attention by Congresswoman Daphne Campbell, from the State of Florida, that Marcus Bach Armas, of the Miami Dolphins has made a great contribution to help the under privileged in the Miami area. He believes in the Golden Rule and he is always looking to empower and treat people the way he wants to be treated.

Dr. Rivers Presenting Award to Rep. Daphne Campbell


On September 14, 2013 in North Miami, Dr. Clyde Rivers presented the Golden Rule Award International to Representative Daphne Campbell, the State of Florida Representative for the 108th District. She received this prestigious award for her willingness to proclaim the Golden Rule to the citizens of North Miami Day County. The Golden Rule states “Treat others the way you want to be treated.”

The Golden Rule International Award is now established in 120 nations of the world. This organization seeks out top achievers that live the Golden Rule in their everyday life. This is a new global ethic that the leadership of the Golden Rule International Award, Patron, and current President of Ethiopia, Girma Wolde and Ambassador Mussie Hailu has embraced and is promoting globally. Golden Rule International is also affiliated with the Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative (IPI), African Union, the United Nations as well as the United Religions Initiative (URI).

Ambassador Rivers said, “It is a monumental day when we have leaders that are willing to treat others the way they want to be treated.” Rivers said, “It is very important that we are able to dialogue and establish cultures of peace even when we don’t totally agree on everything. The Golden Rule is a global ethic that, when enacted, can and will establish a peaceful world – Peace and Blessings to all.”

Dr. Clyde Rivers Receives Award From State of Florida House of Representatives

On September 14, 2013 Dr. Clyde Rivers receives award from House of Representatives – Florida. Representative Daphne Campbell is the State of Florida Representative for the 108th District. She presented a prestigious tribute to Dr. Rivers for his work as a World Peace Ambassador and Global Educator.


Dr. Rivers was quoted saying, “It is such an honor to be recognized by the State of Florida and it’s great people for the work I do around the world. As a World Peace Ambassador it is my conviction that every individual in the world should have the right to live in peace. I believe I’ve been given the mandate of honoring and encouraging this right around the world. I am dedicated to advocating peace globally. Thank you Representative Campbell for recognizing our peace efforts around the world”
