WORLD PEACE AMBASSADOR DR. CLYDE RIVERS WINS MARTIN LUTHER KING LEGACY OF PEACE AWARD

     In San Jose, California on October 18, 2014, Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers was surprised and honored by the presentation of the Martin Luther King Legacy of Peace Award.  The President of the Martin Luther King Foundation, of the Santa Clarita Valley, Kathleen Flynn and the Mayor of San Jose, Chuck Reed and other respected officials, presented the award to Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers.
     The Martin Luther King Foundation has been active in the Santa Clarita Valley for well over 30 years. Every year this organization chooses to honor the top mountain movers whose lives are representative of the great work Dr. Martin Luther King accomplished in his life, Civil Rights Laws in the United States of America. Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers said, “I’m very humbled by the Legacy of Peace Award from the pioneer of peace, Dr. Martin Luther King through this prestigious foundation.”
     There is great work being accomplished by Ambassador Rivers and the Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative, Golden Rule International Award, as well as Dr. Clyde Rivers’ organization, iChange Nations. Together they are in over 120 nations of the world proclaiming the Golden Rule, “Treat others the way you want to be treated.” Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers went on the say, “I believe this Global Ethic can change the world. The work of iChange Nations, dedicated to bringing back the lost art of honor around the world, along with the Golden Rule International Award, are the key to global transformation - working to keep peace alive.”

CHEROKEE NATION EMBRACES GOLDEN RULE INTERNATIONAL AWARD

The Golden Rule International Award is now established in 120 nations of the world. This organization seeks out top achievers that live the Golden Rule in their everyday life. This is a new global ethic that the leadership of the Golden Rule International Award, Patron, former President of Ethiopia, Girma Wolde and Ambassador Mussie Hailu has embraced and is promoting worldwide. Golden Rule International is also affiliated with the Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative (IPI), African Union, the United Nations as well as the United Religions Initiative (URI).

In Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the Cherokee Nation Head Quarters, Chief Principle Bill Baker, leader of the Cherokee Nation, was involved in presentations at a Golden Rule International Award Ceremony. He and Monika Ponton Arrington, Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative Representative, beautifully represented the Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative and the Golden Rule International Award with members of the Cherokee Nation.

Ambassador Clyde Rivers says, “We are so honored to have the Sovereign Cherokee Nation embrace the Golden Rule International Award. It is very significant to have the leadership of a nation embrace the Golden Rule Global Ethic, ‘Treat others the way you want to be treated.’ This shows the world that their nation is heading in a direction of peace that the world has never seen before.”

Chief Principle Bill Baker, the leader of the Cherokee Nation also received the valued iChange Nations Global Leadership Award. With its collaborative partners, iChange Nations has implemented an International Honorary Award infrastructure. In Grand Rapids, Michigan, in August 2014 at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library, Mayor of Apalachicola, Van Johnson received the Golden Rule International Award. Dr. Clyde Rivers, the Director of the North American Division of the Golden Rule International, gave the award.

Dr. Rivers said, “Mayor Van Johnson has promoted a life that exemplifies the Golden Rule, ‘Treat others the way you want to be treated.’ We proudly bestow this International Goodwill Peace Ambassadorship upon Mayor Johnson for a life that is poured out to help humanity through his daily deeds and actions.”

In Washington DC, September 5, 2014 at the United States Capitol Building, Dr. Jerry Pierce Jr. received the Golden Rule International Award. Dr. Clyde Rivers, the Director of the North American Division of the Golden Rule International, gave the award. Dr. Pierce is the President and CEO of the Interamerica Group.

TEXAS JUDGE WINS GOLDEN RULE INTERNATIONAL AWARD

In August 2014 at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library, Grand Rapids, Michigan Dr. Clyde Rivers, the Director of the North American Division of the Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative and the Golden Rule International Award presented Judge Sam Griffin with the highly esteemed Golden Rule International Award.

Judge Griffin is a 12th Circuit Court of Appeals Judge in Texas and serves his people in this capacity. He also has traveled to the Middle East and other parts of the world to help aid people in improving their quality of life.

Dr. Clyde Rivers is quoted saying “To have a judge leave the bench to help humanity is a quality that makes this man so great. His life exemplifies the Golden Rule, ‘Treat others the way you want to be treated.’ We need more champions like him in the world. We proudly welcome him to the Golden Rule International Goodwill Peace Ambassadorship family of world peace makers.”

AMBASSADOR CLYDE RIVERS TRAVELED ON PEACE MISSION TO GUATEMALA

The message of peace is spreading worldwide. iChange Nations President, Dr. Clyde Rivers and the Director of the North American Division of the Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative was in Guatemala City to honor topmost achievers for their noble work to better the nation of Guatemala.

Mauricio Juarez, in an advisory position for iChange Nations Guatemala, put together an influential delegation of politicians and spiritual leaders to hear the message of peace and unity. Dr. Clyde Rivers said, “It is a day to be glad, when the political arena and the spiritual arena connect for the betterment of a nation. These two groups are creating great ideas to bring peace and unity to the nation of Guatemala.” Golden Rule International Awards, as well as, United Graduate College and Seminary International honorary degrees were presented to key people at this gathering.

Dr. Radha Rampersad was honored with the presentation of the Golden Rule International Award in Grand Rapids, Michigan at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library in August 2014.  Dr. Clyde Rivers, the Director of the North American Division of the Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative and the Golden Rule International Award presented.


Dr. Rampersad works in her country, Trinidad and around the world as an advocate for women and human rights. Dr. Clyde Rivers commented, “Radha Rampersad is one of the finest humanitarians I have ever had the privilege of honoring. Her life is dedicated to helping the underprivileged, especially women, toward a better life. The motto of the Golden Rule International is “Treat others the way you want to be treated.’ Dr. Rampersad exemplifies this life of excellence.”

GLOBAL INTER-RELIGIOUS LEADER RECEIVES PRESTEGIOUS AWARDS AT THE GERALD FORD PRESIDENTIAL LIBRARY

Golden Rule International is also affiliated with the Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative (IPI), African Union, the United Nations as well as the United Religions Initiative (URI).

We at the Interfaith Peace-Building Initiatives (IPI) Golden Rule International Awards Presentation, at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum, are extremely honored to gather top humanitarians from all over the world. In 120 nations we are in the process of establishing April 5th as the Golden Rule Day International. This is a day in which there is no violence in the name of religion or culture in the world. We are pursuing this as a Resolution at the United Nations.

It gives me great honor to present Harrypersad Maharaj, the President of the Inter-Religious Organization of Trinidad and Tobago. This is the only country I have ever been to that has harmony among their religions and cultures. Harrypersad Maharaj has been a champion voice for peace within Trinidad and Tobago. His great leadership is now being recognized globally.

As well as the presentation of the Golden Rule International Award, the President and Founder of iChange Nations, Ambassador Clyde Rivers surprised Harrypersad Maharaj with the iChange Nations Global Leadership Award, for his work to unify the different cultures in Trinidad and Tobago and around the world. Ambassador Clyde Rivers said of Harrypersad Maharaj, “He will be known in the nations of the world as a man of peace. This will be his legacy to mankind.” Two of the past recipients of this award are, the President of the Taino Nation, Robert Mukaro and the President of the Cherokee Indian Nation, Bill Baker. These are two of many great men and women recipients. To see unity and diversity celebrated at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library is a great day for the world. President Ford was a man that believed in unity and diversity so it is not by chance that we are at this Presidential Museum presenting these honors to our great global leaders.

DR. BRIAN WILLIAMS WINS RODNEY L. MCDOUGAL AWARD

The Congressional Prayer Conference of Washington DC has recognized Dr. Brian Williams for his love and patriotism for the United States of America. As a decorated soldier in the United States Army and as a born-again believer in Jesus Christ, he has exemplified quality leadership in uniting the world.

Working with Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative he has united the nations of the world in peace and unity. The Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative (IPI) is a peace organization, which has been working actively since 2003 to promote interfaith cooperation, a culture of peace, harmony, constructive dialogue, and the teaching of the Golden Rule, “Treat others the way you want to be treated.” It is a non-governmental peace organization legally registered in Ethiopia with Charities and Societies Agency of the Ministry of Justice.

Dr. Williams is an outstanding representation of new generation leader with a vision to make the world a better place. “We at the Congressional Prayer Conference of Washington DC honor him with the Rodney L. McDougal Award for his new generation leadership,” says Ambassador Clyde Rivers.

Rodney McDougal is one of the founders of the Congressional Prayer Conference of Washington DC. He helped establish daily prayer for all governmental leaders of our country. This daily prayer was started in 2001 and continues to take place for every leader by name. The recipients of this award will be the elite in their actions toward making America a Godly place to live.
