FORMER PRESIDENT GIRMA WOLDE GIORGIS ENVIRONMENTAL AWARD GIVEN AT THE GERALD R. FORD PRESIDENTAL LIBRARY

Dr. Clyde Rivers, World Peace Ambassador and Founder of iChange Nations, which establishes Cultures of Honor around the world while propagating “Every life is valuable,” came together with Former Pres. Girma Wolde Giorgis for the creation of a Global Environmental Award. Former Pres. Girma Wolde Giorgis, while acting President of Ethiopia, established land use policies for the preservation of the land of Ethiopia. He is a true hero for his environmental work. The Former President is also acting Patron for the Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative and the Golden Rule International.

Dr. Clyde Rivers Founder of iChange Nations in conjunction with Former Pres. Girma Wolde Giorgis and Amb. Mussie Hailu of the Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative created this Environmental Award to represent the Human Development side of our environment. Amb. Clyde Rivers says, “When people help mankind, the environment is preserved. This prestigious award names just such recipients, Humanitarian Conservationists Solutionists. This award will go to people that care for the environment and people and bring the two together to help the world. The individuals that will receive the title of a Humanitarian Conservationist Solutionist and this award are definitely world changer.”

The men pictured above were the first to receive this prestigious Global Environmental Award in August at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library. It was a monumental event. Dr. Gordon Bradshaw and Dr. Charles Hughes are the creators of the Community Civility Counts Initiative launched from Gary Indiana that is swiftly spreading to other communities and states in the United States. Dr. Sylvester Brinson is working Operation PUSH designed to bring life skill to impoverished lives.  Dr. Don Nori is the Founder of Destiny Image Publishing, one of the largest Christian publishing companies in the world. Dr. Brian Williams is Co-Founder of iChange Nations and the Human Rights Global Congress and a successful businessman. Dr. Curtis Gillispie is over the Global Education for the 3M Training program.

Ambassador Rivers together with Dr. Charles Kinuthia, Dr. Michal P. Pitzl and Dr. Donella Pitzl presented the Golden Rule International Award of Honor for a life exemplifying the Golden Rule and established a Culture of Honor on the beautiful island of Providence. Dr. Melida Harris-Barrow, a fellow Golden Rule World Peace Ambassador, organized this event and nominated outstanding candidates.

Establishing a Culture of Honor in nations around the world is important to World Peace Ambassador Rivers. Recognizing people that are living the Golden Rule coupled with adding value to every human being globally is at the heart of Ambassador Rivers’ message. On Providence Island outstanding individuals working to better their life, land and community were acknowledged and honored on the global platform of the Golden Rule International and iChange Nations.

Everywhere Ambassador Rivers travels he finds value in people. He says, “Every person is important to our world, everyone has a valuable contribution to better mankind. World Peace Ambassador Dr. Melida Harris-Barrow has invited, Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers the North American Division Representative to the United Nations for Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative and the President and Founder of iChange Nations’™, to San Andres and Providence Colombia Islands to empower the youth. The youth of these islands are important to the future. The new global ethic of the Golden Rule, “Treat others the way you want to be treated,” will establish a life style of honor and will expand the greatness of life in these islands and around the world.

Dr. Melida Harris-Barrow will do Business Development Training for the young people in San Andres and Providence at the Youth Peace and Economic Summit. GOLDEN RULE BAHAMAS A MAJOR SUCCESS

On February 15, 2015 the Golden Rule reformation hit the Bahamas. The recipients of this well-earned award were some of the top leaders in the different segments of the Bohemian system. These leaders have exemplified the Golden Rule in their market place. They have made their community a better place.

Ambassador Clyde Rivers challenged these leaders to make their nation a Golden Rule Nation. Rivers said, “I have never seen so much enthusiasm from the leaders of a nation to make this Golden Rule, ‘Treat others the way you want to be treated’, work within their nation. Every life in every nation is priceless. I am truly humbled and happy to welcome these fellow Ambassadors of the Golden Rule to our global community.”

Ambassador Rivers went on to thank Dr. Kevin Storr for his excellent job as Master of Ceremonies for this event in the Bahamas.

DR. CLYDE RIVERS RECEIVES AWARD FROM HAITI

Leconte University presented Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers with an Honorary Doctorate in Leadership in Humanities. The Library of Congress Haiti recognizes Leconte University and it is the first private university in the history of the Republic of Haiti to present this award for tireless effort to bring peace to the world.

The citation given to Dr. Rivers stated in part, “Your belief in ‘Do unto others as you would have them do unto you’  - the Golden Rule, incorporates a belief system that sees no bounds, only ardent activity guided by the grace of God. Through this ideology, you have created a multi-cultural faith based initiative to resolve issues and concerns worldwide… As a World Peace Ambassador your commitment to promote unity and understanding, allows you to surpass obstacles be they culturally, racially or religiously inspired. Universite Leconte D’Haiti welcomes a partnership to utilize your leadership and administrative gifts to collaborate in the restoration of its prominence to the pursuit of education, social and economic development for the people of Haiti. Your vision has brought back the lost art of honor, which has earned you the respect as a distinguished leader among Heads of State, former Presidents, Clergy, Dignitaries and Universities worldwide.”

Ambassador Rivers said, “It speaks volumes to be honored by a non-religious university for trying to bring unity to the people of the world. Every individual born is valuable to the world and especially valuable to God. So we must protect the image of God in every individual born in this world.”

WORLD PEACE AMBASSADOR DR. CLYDE RIVERS WINS MARTIN LUTHER KING LEGACY OF PEACE AWARD

     In San Jose, California on October 18, 2014, Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers was surprised and honored by the presentation of the Martin Luther King Legacy of Peace Award.  The President of the Martin Luther King Foundation, of the Santa Clarita Valley, Kathleen Flynn and the Mayor of San Jose, Chuck Reed and other respected officials, presented the award to Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers.
     The Martin Luther King Foundation has been active in the Santa Clarita Valley for well over 30 years. Every year this organization chooses to honor the top mountain movers whose lives are representative of the great work Dr. Martin Luther King accomplished in his life, Civil Rights Laws in the United States of America. Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers said, “I’m very humbled by the Legacy of Peace Award from the pioneer of peace, Dr. Martin Luther King through this prestigious foundation.”
     There is great work being accomplished by Ambassador Rivers and the Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative, Golden Rule International Award, as well as Dr. Clyde Rivers’ organization, iChange Nations. Together they are in over 120 nations of the world proclaiming the Golden Rule, “Treat others the way you want to be treated.” Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers went on the say, “I believe this Global Ethic can change the world. CHEROKEE NATION EMBRACES GOLDEN RULE INTERNATIONAL AWARD

In Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the Cherokee Nation Head Quarters, Chief Principle Bill Baker, leader of the Cherokee Nation, was involved in presentations at a Golden Rule International Award Ceremony. He and Monika Ponton Arrington, Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative Representative, beautifully represented the Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative and the Golden Rule International Award with members of the Cherokee Nation.

Ambassador Clyde Rivers says, “We are so honored to have the Sovereign Cherokee Nation embrace the Golden Rule International Award. TEXAS JUDGE WINS GOLDEN RULE INTERNATIONAL AWARD

In August 2014 at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library, Grand Rapids, Michigan Dr. Clyde Rivers, the Director of the North American Division of the Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative and the Golden Rule International Award presented Judge Sam Griffin with the highly esteemed Golden Rule International Award.

Judge Griffin is a 12th Circuit Court of Appeals Judge in Texas and serves his people in this capacity. He also has traveled to the Middle East and other parts of the world to help aid people in improving their quality of life.

Dr. Clyde Rivers is quoted saying “To have a judge leave the bench to help humanity is a quality that makes this man so great. His life exemplifies the Golden Rule, ‘Treat others the way you want to be treated.’ We need more champions like him in the world. Dr. Clyde Rivers said, “It is a day to be glad, when the political arena and the spiritual arena connect for the betterment of a nation. Ford Presidential Library and Museum, are extremely honored to gather top humanitarians from all over the world. In 120 nations we are in the process of establishing April 5th as the Golden Rule Day International. This is a day in which there is no violence in the name of religion or culture in the world. We are pursuing this as a Resolution at the United Nations.

It gives me great honor to present Harrypersad Maharaj, the President of the Inter-Religious Organization of Trinidad and Tobago. This is the only country I have ever been to that has harmony among their religions and cultures. Harrypersad Maharaj has been a champion voice for peace within Trinidad and Tobago. His great leadership is now being recognized globally.

As well as the presentation of the Golden Rule International Award, the President and Founder of iChange Nations, Ambassador Clyde Rivers surprised Harrypersad Maharaj with the iChange Nations Global Leadership Award, for his work to unify the different cultures in Trinidad and Tobago and around the world. Ambassador Clyde Rivers said of Harrypersad Maharaj, “He will be known in the nations of the world as a man of peace. This will be his legacy to mankind.” Two of the past recipients of this award are, the President of the Taino Nation, Robert Mukaro and the President of the Cherokee Indian Nation, Bill Baker. These are two of many great men and women recipients. To see unity and diversity celebrated at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library is a great day for the world. President Ford was a man that believed in unity and diversity so it is not by chance that we are at this Presidential Museum presenting these honors to our great global leaders.

DR. BRIAN WILLIAMS WINS RODNEY L. MCDOUGAL AWARD

The Congressional Prayer Conference of Washington DC has recognized Dr. Brian Williams for his love and patriotism for the United States of America. As a decorated soldier in the United States Army and as a born-again believer in Jesus Christ, he has exemplified quality leadership in uniting the world.

Working with Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative he has united the nations of the world in peace and unity. The Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative (IPI) is a peace organization, which has been working actively since 2003 to promote interfaith cooperation, a culture of peace, harmony, constructive dialogue, and the teaching of the Golden Rule, “Treat others the way you want to be treated.” It is a non-governmental peace organization legally registered in Ethiopia with Charities and Societies Agency of the Ministry of Justice.

Dr. Williams is an outstanding representation of new generation leader with a vision to make the world a better place. “We at the Congressional Prayer Conference of Washington DC honor him with the Rodney L. McDougal Award for his new generation leadership,” says Ambassador Clyde Rivers.

Rodney McDougal is one of the founders of the Congressional Prayer Conference of Washington DC. He helped establish daily prayer for all governmental leaders of our country. This daily prayer was started in 2001 and continues to take place for every leader by name. The recipients of this award will be the elite in their actions toward making America a Godly place to live.

Ambassador Mussie Hailu, one of the world’s top philanthropists, is the first recipient of the iChange Nations Person of the Year Award. The award was presented by Professor Clyde River, President of iChange Nations, at the Gerald R. Ford Library and Museum during the Golden Rule Award ceremony.

The mission of iChange Nations™ is to bring back the lost art of honor by building a culture that recognizes individuals throughout the world, those who have accomplished extraordinary humanitarian efforts to effectively change nations. iChange Nations™, with its collaborative partners, have implemented an International Honorary Award infrastructure. This infrastructure empowers and equips our citizens and alumni members with the tools needed to effectively pursue and transform the world.

Professor Rivers commented, “I have watched the work of Ambassador Hailu as one of the worlds top peace activists for several years. He is responsible for bringing unity and peace to several nations of the world. He is the Founder of the peace organization Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative (IPI) that has worked actively since 2003 to promote an interfaith culture of peace. Ambassador Hailu established the Golden Rule International Award, as well as, the initiative of the Golden Rule International Award Day.
