ON CAPITOL HILL FORMER ETHIOPIAN PRESIDENT GIRMA WOLDE GIORGIS AWARD GIVEN TO MELIDA HARRIS-BARROW

Dr. Melida Harris-Barrow was honored on Capitol Hill in Washington DC on November 2015. World Peace Ambassador Dr. Melida Harris-Barrow was given the Girma Wolde Giorgis Environmental Protection Award. She is recognized as a Humanitarian Conservationist Solutionist for her contribution to mankind to empower and recognize greatness in others. Among her accomplishments are the Awards, Golden Rule International World Peace Ambassador and IChange Nations™ Women Add Value.  At the event on Capital Hill she launched her Love Truth Peace Campaign. At the heart of all she ventures into, Love Truth and Peace motivate her to empower individuals as well as instill the importance of leadership and environmental economic development. She also works to empower youth and encourage a spirit of entrepreneurism, creating Young Ambassadors in her wake. She is Founder and CEO of Panama World Trade and Investment Foundation. Now she is among a very select group of recipients of the prestigious Girma Wolde Giorgis Environmental Protection Award with the title of, “Humanitarian Conservationist Solutionist.” Dr. Clyde Rivers, Founder and President of IChange Nations™, Co-authored this award with the Former President of Ethiopia, Girma Wolde Giorgis.

Ambassador Clyde Rivers says, “Dr. Melida is a women of vision and passion for everything she puts her efforts into. WORLD PEACE MESSAGE OF THE GOLDEN RULE PROCLAIMED ON PROVIDENCE ISLAND COLOMBIA SOUTH AMERICA

Golden Rule World Peace Ambassador and his delegation carried the message of the Golden Rule International, “Treat others the way you want to be treated,” to Providence Island Colombia. Ambassador Rivers together with Dr. Charles Kinuthia, Dr. Michal P. Pitzl and Dr. Donella Pitzl presented the Golden Rule International Award of Honor for a life exemplifying the Golden Rule and established a Culture of Honor on the beautiful island of Providence. Dr. Melida Harris-Barrow, a fellow Golden Rule World Peace Ambassador, organized this event and nominated outstanding candidates.

Establishing a Culture of Honor in nations around the world is important to World Peace Ambassador Rivers. Recognizing people that are living the Golden Rule coupled with adding value to every human being globally is at the heart of Ambassador Rivers’ message. On Providence Island outstanding individuals working to better their life, land and community were acknowledged and honored on the global platform of the Golden Rule International and iChange Nations.

Everywhere Ambassador Rivers travels he finds value in people. He says, “Every person is important to our world, everyone has a valuable contribution to better mankind. It is essential that we bring value and recognition to individuals around the world who are working to help others. It is of upmost importance to establish Cultures of Honor. This will change our world.”

The Golden Rule International Award is now established in 120 nations of the world. This organization seeks out top achievers that live the Golden Rule in their everyday life. This is a new global ethic that the leadership of the Golden Rule International Award, Patron, former President of Ethiopia, Girma Wolde and Ambassador Mussie Hailu have embraced and are promoting globally. Ambassador Clyde Rivers is the Representative for the Golden Rule International and the Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative, North American Division to the United Nations – New York. Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative is affiliated with the Department of Public Record (DPI) – United Nations as well as affiliated with the United Religious Initiative (URI), an Interfaith Peace organization.

GOLDEN RULE INTERNATIONAL GOES TO COLOMBIAN ISLANDS

World Peace Ambassador Dr. Melida Harris-Barrow has invited, Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers the North American Division Representative to the United Nations for Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative and the President and Founder of iChange Nations’™, to San Andres and Providence Colombia Islands to empower the youth. The youth of these islands are important to the future. The new global ethic of the Golden Rule, “Treat others the way you want to be treated,” will establish a life style of honor and will expand the greatness of life in these islands and around the world.

Dr. Melida Harris-Barrow will do Business Development Training for the young people in San Andres and Providence at the Youth Peace and Economic Summit. Ambassador Clyde Rivers, said, “The youth are tomorrows leaders and the Golden Rule International and iChange Nations’ are proud to work with these Young Ambassadors. There is value in every individual born because they are created to bring a contribution to the world. As we pass along this knowledge we all become better. iChange Nations’is our professional institution that equips, mentors and trains individuals who have the desire to change nations throughout the world. On behalf of the Golden Rule International and iChange Nations’, it is such an honor to be able to speak at the Youth Peace and Economics Summit this summer.”
