Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers, Founder and President of iChange Nations™ has approved a new award in honor of a top World Peace Activist and Philanthropist, Ambassador Mussie Hailu. This award is the iChange Nations™ Ambassador Mussie Hailu Global Peace Award. Ambassador Hailu is known worldwide to be a man of high values, deep care for humanity and works around the world with the message of the Golden Rule.

The "Ambassador Mussie Hailu Global Peace Award," is an iChange Nations™ award intended to acknowledge, recognize and appreciate the efforts of individuals or organizations throughout the world who are committed to promoting a culture of peace, compassion, human dignity, the teaching of the Golden Rule, "Treat others the way you want to be treated", with mutual respect and co-existence among followers of different religions and cultures.

Ambassador Mussie Hailu is working at regional, national and international levels. His efforts involve promoting peace, reconciliation, interfaith harmony and world citizenship. In addition, he labors to protect human rights, enhancing respect and human dignity and compassion for all forms of life around the world. He also actively works against the proliferation of small arms and light weapons promoting disarmament. His efforts are also directed at constructive dialogue, building bridges for international cooperation and promoting the teaching of the Golden Rule as a guiding principle.

GUYANA VICE PRESIDENT SYDNEY ALLICOCK RECEIVES GLOBAL AWARD

The Vice President of Guyana, the Honorable Sydney Allicock, was honored with the iChange Nations™ Person of the Year award for South America in early June 2017. The award was received in Honorable Allicock's absence, by Errol Ross. Recognition of Honorable Allicock was brought to Dr. Clyde Rivers by iChange Nations™ Representative, Astell Collins.

Honorable Allicock was given this award for his commitment to empower the indigenous people in Guyana. He’s created an institute called Bina Hill Institute. It’s a skills development education that’s training the indigenous community in skills so they can produce jobs and make a better life for themselves and others. This is considered, by iChange Nations™, a “heroic institute” that the Honorable Sydney Allicock has put in place for his country. “The work that the Vice President of Indigenous People Affairs for Guyana, Sydney Allicock, is the type of work that is needed to help eradicate poverty from the world,” says Dr. Clyde Rivers.

Dr. Rivers continued to say, “To have such a leader in the country of Guyana and the world that is caring for the next generations is deserving of special recognition. iChange Nations™ has seen the fruit of this man’s labors for his country and believes he is worthy of being recognized as the iChange Nations™ Person of the Year Award, South America.”

In addition to this prestigious award, iChange Nations™ Person of the Year Award - South America, Honorable Allicock also received the iChange Nations Challenged Champions and Heroes™ Award for being a champion of the indigenous people of his nation. The beautiful island of Grenada experienced the Culture of Honor when Golden Rule World Peace Ambassador and Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative Representative, Dr. Charles Karuku and Golden Rule World Peace Ambassador Dr. Eric Melwani, bestowed the Golden Rule International Award upon Hon. Winston Garraway. The Golden Rule states “Treat others the way you want to be treated” and Hon. Garraway’s life has been lived to help others.

Hon. Winston Garraway is the Minister of State, Minister of Youth, Sports and Religious Affairs and National Disaster Management Agency for Grenada. He has served his people in building outstanding leaders of all ages and promoting global opportunities in sports for the youth of Grenada. He truly cares about humanity and exemplifies the Golden Rule ethic. For this reason IChange Nations™, Golden Rule International and Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative were compelled to honor this man.

Ambassador Rivers commented, “Hon. Garraway caught our attention because of his amazing work to help the people of Grenada, young and old. As Ambassador Clyde Rivers’ addressed this esteemed audience he stated, “Every life is a gift from God and it’s very important that we preserve the gifts in individuals. That is what nations, societies and communities of the world can be built upon.” In his closing statement he reiterated, “Every life is valuable because of the gift within that life that is to bring a contribution to this world.”

In February 2016, Ambassador and Founder of Golden Rule International Mussie Hailu and Golden Rule Representative Ambassador Clyde Rivers had the honor of meeting with several influential individuals in Kenya. Several of these individuals were honored with the Golden Rule International Award for their outstanding life model of,
“Treating others the way they want to be treated.” Humanity has benefited by the actions and kindness of these individuals.

Ambassador Mussie Hailu and Ambassador Clyde Rivers are working together around the world to move the Golden Rule Honorary System faster this year. They are in agreement that the world is in desperate need of this new global peace ethic. Finding individuals, organizations and movements that are propagating the Golden Rule is of paramount importance to spreading this message and continuing to establish the Culture of Honor globally. THE GLOBAL LAUNCH OF YOUTH ADD VALUE™ EVENT A HUGE SUCCESS

What was experienced at the first ever Youth Add Value™ Honorary Awards Ceremony was a phenomena. It's unmistakable that people have been uplifted, lives are forever changed, and YAV's mission to give honor back to institutions and to uplift the youth of the world has only just begun.

On January 9th, 2016, 24 incredible Lincoln County citizens were presented and awarded by Youth Add Value™ in recognition of their exceptional dedication to the youth and young adults of Lincoln County, Oregon.

The tone of the event was serious but the energy was celebratory. This was an opportunity to honor men and women who choose to make a statement every day about the value of young people through their common deeds, actions, and institutions designed to protect the youth of their community. From law enforcement personnel, and foster care operators, to youth outreach programs, and prison ministries, it became evident quite quickly that Lincoln County is home to some of the most exemplary individuals on the planet. Yet not a single person in the room ever did what they do with the expectation of an award at the end, and that's what Youth Add Value is all about. We're giving honor back to the everyday heroes who are making a difference but fail to ever receive the appreciation and gratitude they deserve.

YAV™ sees your hard work and we honor you for what you do. Without human beings like the ones who were recognized a few days ago, young adults would not be the well adjusted, socially independent, and prosperous individuals that we have the opportunity to become today. It takes people who are willing to sacrifice their time, their energy, and their resources to ensure that generations of young people are equipped and able to grow into the kings and queens they are called to be. It requires people like each and every one of our award recipients.

While many of the award recipients at this event come from different backgrounds and have invested their efforts in unique and diverse ways, this ceremony did something special that very few other institutions are ever able to accomplish. It taught each of us that even though we play different positions on the field when it comes to youth development, we all act as very important members of the same team. It became apparent that if the world is ever going to be transformed into a peaceful planet where people know their value and treat others with the respect, dignity, and admiration that they deserve, it's going to take all of us. In our unique areas, and in our own unique means, it's time to take responsibility for our nation. It's time to live by the Golden Rule.

CHIEF DUPUTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY JERRY HUPP IS AWARDED THE GOLDEN RULE INTERNATIONAL AWARD

In January 2016 in Newport Oregon, Youth Add Value™ Initiative in conjunction with IChange Nations™ and the Golden Rule International hosted an honorary event for Lincoln County award recipients. Chief Deputy District Attorney Jerry Hupp received the Golden Rule International Award. Hupp’s life has steadily represented the Golden Rule, “Treat others the way you want to be treated.” He has spent the last 15 years of his career seeking justice for victims of sexual crimes and crimes against children. Chief Deputy Hupp says, “This type of case is very difficult to prove and can be heart-wrenching.” He constantly sees children being victimized by crime at work, and seeing first-hand the effects abuse can have on children. He and his wife recognized there is hope for these children available with some consistent parenting. It was sobering and spurred he and his wife to become Foster Parents to make a difference in a few young lives.

The heart and life dedication of this man moved Ambassador Clyde Rivers. Rivers said, “It is a privilege to honor this man for his life to help mankind specifically the young. I recognize in him a person that believes that every life is valuable and has been willing to pour his life into others. He truly exemplifies the Golden Rule and we are proud to have him join our vast alumni around the world.”

THE GOLDEN RULE INTERNATIONAL AWARD GOES TO CHIEF OF POLICE DAVID ENYEART

Chief of Police for Toledo Oregon, Chief David Enyeart, received the prestigious global Golden Rule International Award in January 2016 in Newport Oregon The event planned and organized by Youth Add Value™ in conjunction with IChange Nations™ and the Golden Rule International Award Systems. Chief Enyeart is highly motivated to leverage 17 years of achievements in law enforcement and 37 years in the Oregon National Guard to provide dedicated service to the state and federal governments. Chief Enyeart has a Master in Strategic Studies and a BS in Psychology.

MG Enyeart had three combat deployments, two to Afghanistan and one Bosnia and Herzegovina. He was honored with the Defense Superior Service Medal and Legion of Merit for superior performance; two Bronze Star Medal’s for actions during combat operations, three Meritorious Service Medal, and four Army Commendation Medal for superior performance in a variety positions. Awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal, for excellent execution of a joint mission with the Air Force, and a Combat Infantry Badge for heroic actions under fire. He now uses his vast experience to better the community he is serving. Ambassador Rivers commented, “This highly decorated man, Chief Enyeart, is living a life that exemplifies the Golden Rule ‘Treat others the way you want to be treated.’ We are fortunate to have a man of his caliber as one of our World Peace Ambassador and the city of Toledo should be proud to have him serving their community. Welcome to our global alumni.”

November 2015 in Harrisburg PA, Chris and Carol Green received the Golden Rule International Award - World Peace Ambassador for living a life that exemplifies the motto of the Golden Rule International, “Treat others the way you want to be treated.”

Chris and Carol Green are the founder and leaders of Urban Life Family Center, an urban Family-Focused Life Coaching Initiative. Among some of their accomplishments are, 11 books, the production of over 100 songs, the creation of Fruitful Living Courses and a Consulting and Coaching Business. They have chosen to partner with various social media campaigns such as the Healing Tree International Team, organizations, groups, business and urban community outreach efforts. Their lives are dedicated to helping others. They are the recipients of the IChange Nations™ Community Ambassador Award as well as this Golden Rule International Goodwill Ambassador appointment.

Carvin Haggins is a Grammy Award winning songwriter and producer. In his life he has worked with renowned artists. He is passionate about music and has a strong sense of responsibility for his community. His experience has catapulted him into creative song writing and producing local talent and has formed his own production company, Karma Productions, with friend and co-founder, Ivan Barias. Carvin was also named Philly 360 Creative Ambassador of Philadelphia. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Community of Angels Foundation. He is often asked to address young people, sharing about his life’s journey. He is currently leading the charge to bring respect back to radio, starting his Ethical Music Entertainment label. Haggins works along side HoodRise Nations Urban Movement to assist in lifting others higher through his gift sand talents.

November 2015 Harrisburg PA, at the National Civil War Museum, we had the honor to celebrate Carvin Haggins. On Capitol Hill in November 2015, World Peace Ambassador Shelton Bady was given the Girma Wolde Giorgis Environmental Protection Award. He is being recognized as a Humanitarian Conservationist Solutionist for his uprightness and hard work. He has been in the forefront for social change, collaborating his efforts with many community organizations to assist and encourage others. Life is valuable to Sheldon Bady and he has dedicated his life to helping others. He is among a very select group of recipients of this prestigious award. Dr. Clyde Rivers, Founder and President of IChange Nations™, co-authored this award with the Former President of Ethiopia, Girma Wolde Giorgis.

Newly Appointed World Peace Ambassador Jadee Jones

November 2015 on Capitol Hill Washington DC, Jadee Jones received the Golden Rule International Award - World Peace Ambassador for living a life that exemplifies the motto of the Golden Rule International, “Treat others the way you want to be treated.” Jadee has exemplified the Golden Rule through his dedicated lifestyle of imputing into many young lives. As an athlete himself he has done this through sports programs that are teaching athletic skills and providing a safe positive environment for kids. He knows the value of this environment for good character growth of young people. Jones also actively works as a Cultural Advocate bridging the gap between minority families and the school system. He supervises in the classroom, consults and meets with students and parents as well as monitors their grades and achievements. He actively puts his life into the belief system that every life is valuable and is created for a contribution to our world.

Ambassador Rivers commented, “Jadee is one of those unique individuals that gives of his heart and life for others. He has earned the title of Good Will Peace Ambassador for the Golden Rule International and we are happy to have him represent us globally.”

Ambassador Clyde Rivers is also the Representative for the Golden Rule International and the Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative, North American Division to the United Nations – New York. Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative is affiliated with the Department of Public Record (DPI) – United Nations as well as affiliated with the United Religious Initiative (URI), an Interfaith Peace organization.

Dr. Melida Harris-Barrow was honored on Capitol Hill in Washington DC on November 2015. World Peace Ambassador Dr. Melida Harris-Barrow was given the Girma Wolde Giorgis Environmental Protection Award. She is recognized as a Humanitarian Conservationist Solutionist for her contribution to mankind to empower and recognize greatness in others. Among her accomplishments are the Awards, Golden Rule International World Peace Ambassador and IChange Nations™ Women Add Value. At the event on Capital Hill she launched her Love Truth Peace Campaign. At the heart of all she ventures into, Love Truth and Peace motivate her to empower individuals as well as instill the importance of leadership and environmental economic development. She also works to empower youth and encourage a spirit of entrepreneurism, creating Young Ambassadors in her wake. She is Founder and CEO of Panama World Trade and Investment Foundation. Now she is among a very select group of recipients of the prestigious Girma Wolde Giorgis Environmental Protection Award with the title of, “Humanitarian Conservationist Solutionist.” Dr. Clyde Rivers, Founder and President of IChange Nations™, Co-authored this award with the Former President of Ethiopia, Girma Wolde Giorgis.
