The major power of community in
the Republic of Burundi Africa has united the Hutus and Tutsi tribes as a
result of working side-by-side for years rebuilding their nation.
Ambassador Clyde Rivers
commented, “As Ambassador at Large for the Republic of Burundi, I can tell you
first hand that there is a unity in our nation due to the efforts of the people
of this nation. The power of the transformation in Burundi has not taken place
because of politics. It has taken place because of love. Politics can never
heal a broken heart. It’s the love of God. You can never change a nation until
you heal the broken heart of the people. In the Republic of Burundi Africa, the
hearts of the people are now being healed. This great nation is on the way to
the top. If you want to see a model of transformation, model yourself after the
Republic of Burundi Africa. Only love can change us.”
Ambassador Clyde Rivers says, “It
is a beautiful day when you see people working together to build their nation
in peace ad harmony. This Community Works Day is the new model for national
development and was created by President Pierre Nkurunziza.”
