Mario Murillo Receives Honorary Doctorate Degree From Latin University of Theology

Latin University of Theology’s International Commissioner, Dr. Clyde Rivers, was in San Jose California on June 8th, 2014 to present Mario Murillo with an Honorary Doctorate in Theology. This historical event took place at the Star of David Ministry with the overseers Dr. Sonny and Linda Lara in attendance.

Dr. Rivers told the audience that, “Mario Murillo is a true pioneer of the faith. We are proud, at Latin University of Theology, to confer upon Mario Murillo the Honorary Doctorate of Theology for his labor in the Word of God as an evangelist.” Dr. Rivers went on to say, “Bringing back the lost art of honor is a critical element that we must implement in the body of Christ. We must recognize those that have gone before us. So it gives me great privilege to honor Dr. Mario Murillo for his labors of love for mankind.”

Latin University of Theology has extension campuses in over 28 nations of the world. We welcome Dr. Mario Murillo to the family of Latin University of Theology.

Head of Dr. Rivers Organization Wins Golden Rule Award

Dr. Robin A. Lococo receives Golden Rule International Scout Award from the Interfaith Peace-Building Initiative which has established the Golden Rule Award in over 120 nations of the world. This award now makes her a Goodwill Ambassador for
The Golden Rule which teaches people to treat others the way they want to be treated. Dr. Robin Lococo oversees multiple organizations that work in developing nations to help in humanitarian work and education.  

Prof. Clyde Rivers says; "Dr. Robin Lococo is responsible for hundreds of thousands of people receiving help in need and education, she is a builder of networks that lead people to transformation.  She is a true humanitarian with a passion to
see mankind live the way God created them to live. She has committed her entire life to this kind of work"

"The Golden Scout Award is better today because of Dr. Robin A. Lococo a true Humanitarian that is not looking to be in the front. She works from the back and makes it happen for everyone else.  Great things come to those that serve other says Prof. Rivers".

The Golden Rule service was done on Capitol Hill of the United States of America.

Professor Clyde Rivers, the Chief Operating Officer for Latin University of Theology International says, “It is truly a great day for Latin University of Theology that they recognize and honor the Founders of Samaritans Feet, Dr. Manny Ohomne and his wife Tracie. These two people are some of the most amazing people I have ever met in my life. The Ohome’s, through Samaritans Feet, have given over four million pairs of shoes to people of the world that had no shoes. Samaritans Feet is a, one-of-a-kind organizations. The heart of Samaritans Feet is to touch the children of the world with shoes, creating an open door to hope and vision for a better future. Leading the way in changing the lives of one child at a time.”

Mayor Jill Swain of Huntersville, North Carolina exemplifies the saying, “Southern Hospitality.” Mayor Swain is outstanding and her kindness is very special. Last Friday at North Mecklenburg High School in Huntersville, N.C., Ambassador Dr. Clyde Rivers attended a function of the organization Samaritans Feet. Ambassador Rivers said, “The reception we received from the school and Mayor Swain was outstanding. Mayor Swain was so full of life and had a true connection with the youth of the school. It’s great to see the community involved with the school as they look to work with Samaritans Feet, looking beyond themselves. The youth will lead the way.  A big Burundian, ‘Thank you’ to all in Huntersville and North Mecklenburg High School.”

LATIN COMMUNITY LEADS THE WAY IN CHAPLAIN PROGRAM

Dr. Andrew Catalan, Multi-Faith Executive Clergy and Head of Latin University of Theology’s Chaplain Program, feels that chaplain programs are the “new evangelist” to help people solve their problems and find Christ.

This is a great day for Latin University of Theology to have a pioneer Chaplain and State Certified Chaplain like Dr. Catalan leading the way.
