Mayor Swain is outstanding and her kindness is very special. Last Friday at
North Mecklenburg High School in Huntersville, N.C., Ambassador Dr. Clyde
Rivers attended a function of the organization Samaritans Feet. Ambassador
Rivers said, “The reception we received from the school and Mayor Swain was
outstanding. Mayor Swain was so full of life and had a true connection with the
youth of the school. It’s great to see the community involved with the school
as they look to work with Samaritans Feet, looking beyond themselves. The youth
will lead the way. A big Burundian,
‘Thank you’ to all in Huntersville and North Mecklenburg High School.”
