NFL Ambassador Tony Stewart’s Program – Beyond the Locker Reaches Out Internationally

Dr. Clyde Rivers, Honorary Ambassador at Large for the Republic of Burundi meets with NFL Ambassador, Tony Stewart to discuss his new up and coming program, “Beyond the Locker.”

Dr. Rivers says, “Tony Stewart, former Oakland Raiders Tight End, is a class act. His “Beyond the Locker” program is truly an answer for the youth of today. It inspires, motivates and most of all leaves a passion in the heart of the youth that complete this program. I like the theme, “I Got Skills,” it speaks for its self.”

Tony Stewart believes every kid in the world has skills to be successful in life. Dr. Rivers is very hopeful that, together, they can bring “Beyond the Locker” to the Republic of Burundi.

Rivers went on to comment, “It is truly an honor meeting with a man of integrity like Tony Stewart.”

ELITE TV WORKING TO BETTER BURUNDI

Dr. Robert Ornales, Founder of Elite TV, was at the National Congressional Day of Prayer in Washington, D.C. this past week with Dr. Clyde Rivers. Dr. Ornales is bringing positive exposure to the country of Burundi as he works with Honorary Ambassador at Large, Dr. Clyde Rivers.

Dr. Rivers said, “It’s a true privilege to have Elite TV as an official representative of the Burundi media.” Elite TV has been a major media force in assisting Dr. Rivers in re-branding the Republic of Burundi. Rivers went on to say, “I have not found a man with such a great heart for Burundi Africa, as Dr. Ornales. His is showing the next generation and the world a positive image of the Republic of Burundi, and for this, the country is very grateful.”

CONGRESSIONAL PRAYER DAY SUCCESS

Honorary Ambassador at Large for the Republic of Burundi, Clyde Rivers spoke at the Congressional Prayer Conference in Washington, D.C. - “Pray America Back,” this past week.



Dr. Rivers said, “The Congressional Prayer Day for our veterans and their families was a huge success.” He went on to say, “It was a great blessings to be a part of bringing honor to the men and women that continually protect our freedoms, both in the United States and around the world. It was touching to observe the comradeship amongst the veterans from multiple wars and engagements.” As Honorary Ambassador Rivers spoke at this event he challenged veterans to write their stories – their legacies – so that the next generations know the price paid for freedom.



The Congressman, Ed Royce gave an inspiring tribute to our veterans. Pastor Erick Hall, National Vice President of United States Pastors Association was also in attendance. There were special presentations as well as the Native American Warrior Medal of Valor awarded 28 veterans at this “Pray America Back” event. Honorary Ambassador Clyde Rivers said, “These are some of the true heroes of the United States of America.”
