for the Republic of Burundi, Africa

Dr. Clyde Rivers, Honorary Ambassador at Large for the Republic of Burundi, Africa, spoke at Norwich Free Academy, the second largest high school in the state of Connecticut this week. Norwich Free Academy has 2,500 students and Dr. Rivers’ lecture to the student body was focused on the new developing Africa, and in particular, the nation in which Dr. Rivers is Honorary Ambassador, the Republic of Burundi.

The Honorary Ambassador, Dr. Rivers, was very pleased with the turn out and enthusiasm of the student body. Dr. Rivers said, “They have great hearts and very good questions. With youth like these we are sure to have a bright future in America. Anytime I have a chance to teach young people the truth about Africa I do it. The world is very misinformed and there is a new Africa in the making and her future is bright.”
